Recycled Sweater #2

Next up was the large cream cotton sweater. I'm thinking of trying out some dye on some of this. My current plan is to make several market bags with it for my mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin for birthdays/mother's day all coming up in May. I didn't have very many problems with this one. There was only one spot where I snagged the actual sweater when trying to undo the sleeve. So I ended up with 2 large balls from the front and back, two from the sleeves, one from the collar, one from the part I accidently cut and then two tiny little balls of bits that were from the seams.

Here it is:

And it weighted in at a grand total of............800 gms!!
So that's about $0.62 for 100 gms of cotton, and since it's white the color possibilities are endless!
